Katrina Adams, '07 hails from Roosevelt, NY. Her interests include, Japanese language and culture, raising Beta fish, and listening to music.  Katrina will spend a fifth year on campus to get her Master's degree in chemistry.  After, she may apply to Teach for America or go on for a Ph.D.  She plans to go into research in physical organic chemistry.

Portia Chipendo, '08 hails from Harare, Zimbabwe.  She attended Gateway High School.  She plans to major in Biochemistry and is also interested in getting a certificate in International Relations.  Portia enjoys soccer, is a member of the Wesleyan Christian Fellowship and plans to live in International House.  After Wesleyan, she wants to go to medical or pharmaceutical school.

Philip Hanoian, '07 hails from Clinton, NY where he attended Clinton High School.  He is majoring in Chemistry and is also interested in French and Buddhism.  Phil enjoys listening to music, playing ultimate frisbee and soccer and cooking.  He plans to continue studying in graduate school or get a job after he graduates this year.

Siong Kong, '07 comes from Penang, Malaysia where he attended St. Andrew Junior College (Singapore).  His majors are MB&B and Computer Science.  Siong's other interests include hiking, cycling, exploring, languages, history, politics, and religion.  He plans to complete the BA/MA Fifth Year Program, and then apply to Ph.D. programs.

Maxwell Loewinger, '08 hails from Washington, DC where he attended the Sidwel Friends School.  Max is majoring in Chemistry and American Studies with a concentration in American literature. He is interested in politics, poetry, and fiction.  Max enjoys frisbee, swimming less than seriously (in comic fashion) and will be living in Eclectic in the Fall.  After Wesleyan, Max would like to attend graduate school in Chemistry or Pharmacology.

Mei Qun Luo, '08 hails from Brooklyn, NY.  She came to the united States from China when she was twelve and she attended Manhattan International High School.  She is a Molecular Biology and Biochemistry major.  She likes to read and has special interest in Javanese dance.  After Wesleyan, she plans to pursue a Pharmacology degree.

Drew Marvin-Smith, '08 hails from Madison CT.  He spent four years at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT, before coming to Wesleyan, where he is majoring in Chemistry.  Drew is also a varsity member of the Wesleyan Wrestling Team.  He hoping to stay at Wesleyan for the BA/MA Fifth Year in Chemistry.

Akosua is a member of Kalalou: West Indian Dance Troupe, and Womanist House.  She will be playing intramural soccer and she enjoys Ghanaian music and culture.  After Wesleyan, she plans to travel, and then medical school.

Gregory Peterfreund, '07 hails from Newton, MA, where he attended Newton North High School before coming to Wesleyan University.  He is currently a double major in MB&B and SISP.  He is particularly interested in immunology, infectious disease, and macromolecular recognition, and he hopes to continue studying these topics at a combined MD/Ph.D. degree program, after graduation.  Greg is a member of WesUNICEF, has completed EMT-Basic training, and works in the Oliver Lab during the academic year.

Manuel Sanchez-Casalongue, '07 hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  He attended the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, and is majoring in Chemistry and MB&B.  In his free time he enjoys watching Arrested Development, Family Guy, playing World of Warcraft, reading and traveling to Philadelphia.  He is currently applying to MD/Ph.D. degree programs at different Medical Schools and is very excited about his Senior Thesis Project.

Hwinei Tavengwa, '08, "Winnie" is from Zimbabwe. Prior to Wesleyan, she attended the United World College of Atlantic in Wales.  Winnie likes sports, particularly basketball, soccer and swimming and enjoys almost all music but especially gospel, dancehall, reggae and country.  After Wesleyan, she plans to go to medical school.
